In this article I describe what the standard SAP EWM exception codes ADPR, BIDP, BIDF, BIDU, BFRP and BPRP are for.

 ADPR - Additional Product

Derived from the abbreviation Additional Product

Used in physical inventory of the «Storage Bin Check» (ML) type. If the bin is empty according to the system but actually contains stock, that stock can be added with this exception code.

BFRP - Full Bin Denial + Replenishment

Derived from the abbreviation Bin denial Full RePlenishment

Used in picking and in internal movements. If the source storage bin contains none of the stock that has to be picked, this exception code can trigger replenishment («Direct Replenishment» only). The current task is confirmed with quantity 0.

BPRP - Partial Bin Denial + Replenishment

Derived from the abbreviation Bin denial Part RePlenishment

Used in picking and in internal movements. If the source storage bin contains only part of the stock that has to be picked, this exception code allows you to pick the available part and trigger replenishment («Direct Replenishment» only).

BIDF - Full Bin Denial

Derived from the abbreviation BIn Denial Full

Used in picking and in internal movements. If the source storage bin contains none of the stock that has to be picked, this exception code tells the system to find another source bin holding the same product. The current task is confirmed with quantity 0.

BIDP - Partial Bin Denial

Derived from the abbreviation BIn Denial Part

Used in picking and in internal movements. If the source storage bin contains only part of the stock that has to be picked, this exception code calls a screen for picking the available part, and for the remainder it tells the system to find another source bin holding the same product.

BIDU - Bin Denial: Bin Unavailable

Derived from the abbreviation BIn Denial Unavailable

Used in picking and in internal movements. If the source storage bin is unavailable, this exception code tells the system to find another source bin holding the same product. The current task is confirmed with quantity 0.

Note: when the BID* codes are applied, the system searches for stock in bins by sort sequence, starting not from the beginning but from the sort number of the current storage bin.
