About a year ago one more SAP product – EWM – was included in the SAP Influence program. The idea behind the program is simple: any user of the system, customer or partner, can submit a request to change functionality, publicly visible on the portal. Registered users of that portal can vote for the requests they like. The requests that collect the most votes are implemented by SAP in one of the following releases. The first package of changes has been implemented and released to the public in the form of SAP Notes. They can also be installed all at once by applying a support package.

You can see the released improvements on the portal http://www.sapimprovementfinder.com. In this and the following articles I will go through the new features that have appeared.

EWM - Search Deliveries by ERP Document Number(Note: 0002184975)

In earlier versions of SAP EWM it was not possible to find deliveries by reference document in the monitor:

Now fields have been added for selecting deliveries by reference documents:

Keep in mind that SAP searches for reference documents not in the delivery headers but in the delivery items. If you do not set the «Display Ref. Documents» indicator, SAP does not output the reference documents, for performance reasons:

Unfortunately, it is still not possible to use custom Z reference documents as selection criteria.
